Prince is not on the June 2010 cover of Ebony, however on page 73 of the June 2010 issue, there is an advertisement in deep purple with his symbol on it, hinting that he will be on the July 2010 issue.

I think Drfunkenberry needs to update that info.

The issue always comes out one month prior, which customers will be able to purchase the July issue in June (more than likely the second week, which is usually when the following month's edition can be purchased). There is an actual advertisement on one page "in purple" with his symbol in the center of the page, hinting something for July 2010 issue.

You have to remember that no one from his official staff reported he would be in the June edition, that info was posted at celebrifi.com, which states that Ebony magazine would turn "purple" in June. Maybe they were referring to the one page advertisement, that is in full purple with his symbol on it, inside the June issue. Seeing that page, clearly hints something is up the July issue or why would they have an entire page hinting at it with his symbol?

Secondly, Drfunkenberry's site stated he got a "certain tip" about this, but he never stated that he received that info from anyone inside P's camp. Hope that clears up your curiosity.

This is how the page 73 in the June 2010 looks. The image is from the Ebony Jet Magazine, June 2010. Hope it is okay to post this, if not then the mods will let us know. However, Prince isn't on the cover of the Ebony June 2010, issue, but it looks like he may be in July according to this purple page ad in Ebony Magazine, June 2010. This was the best I could get it scanned.
