The purpose of Ts set for the most part, was to make analog-only songs available on CD. Others had done this before like 12 Inch Singles Collection (Cedrem - Very cool gold tin packaging on this one), 12 Inch (Premium/Ladybird), 12 Inches 2 A Yard (Atomic Halo/AV Records) and Extended Member Of The Royal Household (Mad), but T did a spectacular job. So there really wasn't any reason to put easily accessible CD releases on it. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

I'm almost drawn more to high-quality vinyl transfers with the pops removed than the CD releases, especially those terrible 80s CDs. I'm still pissed he never finished his Associated Artists-set. The one CD I got from that was amazing.

hey errant, I've never even noticed that Hello Fresh Dance Mix is duplicated. I choose to blame it on the seeder of the torrent I got it from, the artwork for V1 does not list it twice.

Overall the set is fairly flawless but does every copy have the same flaw in "Girl?" At about 1:11 when Prince says "won't you kiss me" there is a pop/drop out on the word "kiss." I was hoping that there was a better version of this song but if there is I can't find it. | |
