I didnt remember Madonna saying that he was boring ... i do remember the lavender part...

I think my favorite saying was from Eric Clapton ... was it for an awards show!!?? ... he said something like "with Prince u either love him or hate him ... but u cant ignore his influence and his significance ... " (paraphrasing something like that ... )

Bruce Springsteen also had good words to say about Prince... i cant remember as to what they were ... but it had to do with after seeing Prince in concert i believe (right now , i havnt had my 2 cups of coffee ... and all i can remember is Prince's comment about seeing Bruce live)

Miles Davis said Prince was one of the best keyboard players he ever worked with.

Bono, when asked who his favourite artist was, said "Prince" commenting that he had an awesome back catalogue.

Miles Davis also said something like: every time you listen to Prince there's always a little bit more because he changes...

If I'm not out of memory Michael Keaton commented on Prince's vist to the Pinewood Studios saying something like : I didn't think he was so short...

I read somewhere that Pete Waterman said "He's shit", which just about sums Waterman up! Anyway there was a thread about this topic about 2 weeks ago. Somebody get the link I can't be arsed.

Peter Waterman actually said "He's lost the plot!"

I remember a Prince quote where he mentioned that all Led Zepplin albums represent a different color...or something to that affect.

2 Backstreet Boys have said this about him:

"I personally think Prince is a musical genius." -Kevin Richardson.

"Prince is a tiny purple god!" -AJ Mclean

make of that what you will, but that's what they said...

In the Act II Tour Book, there are quotes from other artists. I remember seeing one from Mick Jagger.
