I'm here of my own free will, for sure, but I didn't bring the loons with me and I can't control where they're going to be! It would be more accurate to say "And here you are, trying to maintain a balance and not get dragged in to the chaos" - BIG difference. So, no blind praising, no incessant criticism either and just basing my opinions on things I actually experience, rather than prejudging - I know that's not the norm in this place, but perhaps you might embrace the novelty?! This all goes round in circles. Some people can't seem to accept others taste. Those that haven't enjoyed his music for years can't seem to accept that there are fans that still get alot of enjoyment out of the music still. And then there are alot of people of think those that berate the recent output are just negative haters. I think 3121/Planet Earth/ Lotusflower and MPLSound are brilliant albums I love them and no one is going to convince me they're crap, but I accept there are some fans that just don't like them, thats fair enough, it's when they seem to suggest that I'm somehow fooling myself into thinking they're great thats when it get's annoying, and I'm sure it is the other way round. Personally I'm really looking forward to some new stuff as since 2006 I think he's been on fire (Purple And Gold is being conveniently forgotten for the purpose of this post). That could have easily fit on the 1999,Batman or Controversy Album. But people on her destroy it...  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! If you look at the negative post you see it's a handful of orgers who post ad nauseum about how bad stuff such is. I think the vast majority of die hards still really enjoy the music. It's funny how Chocolate box was picked out by the critics as one of the stronger songs on MPLSound but some orgers seemed hell bent on making it the Jughead of the 00's.
