The Perfect Prince Album For A Sh**y Day! I had the worst day today! A frustrating experience at my new internship job and then getting drowned by a rain storm while trying to take the bus home.  But then I came home and put on The Gold Experience and I am really appreciating the great music to put me in the right frame of mind! The perfect album for a bad day! That's why I keep listening, despite everything. And then the bonus: to come on Prince.org and find out that P is releasing a new song to a radio station! What is your favorite P album to put you in a great mood after a not-so-hot day?  | |

The Gold Experience used to be my dinner-makin'-music when it came out. It didn't take me 80 minutes to make dinner of course, but I could play that as soon as I got home, changed closed, check mail, made dinner, and ate. It still makes me happy. | |

Amen to that! The Gold Experience was the last album of P's I bought when it first came out and the songs spoke so much to me when I was going through a bad time with my ex-husband... It spoke too much! I didn't really listen to any more Prince music much until the last few months. The Gold Experience is still one of my favorite albums...and it holds no more bad memories...it just brings joy on a gloomy day!  | |

Its hard for me to select Prince songs/albums because I haven't heard each one from start to finish. I deffinately have to expand my collection. That being said, for a gloomy day...3121, Planet Earth or Lotusflow3r. | |
