I watched an interview and there was a "fan" he said that wrote him all the time & he responded to all of them. but one day she decided to be stupid & go to his house & stay there and not leave, so he no longer accepts fan mail.

I took incense, candles and a card the 3121 club in Las Vegas in 2007. While waiting for the aftershow (which I never made it into ... but luv4u did ... Tamar came by and I asked her to give them to Prince. She said she wasn't allowed to.I ended up giving the incense and candles to another fam, and I gave the card to a woman working at the gift counter. Who knows if he ever got it. I like to think so.

Yes. When I was 23, I bought this cool necklace. I had a cool symbol thing hanging on it. I used to trace that and "sign" it as my name. I once sent a post card with that on it and wrote "Ur not the only 1". HAHAHAHAHA wacky I know, but it was for fun. Never heard anything back, of course.

Edit: PS I still have a cardboard cut out of that symbol from 20 years ago. I've always kept it with me so I had a copy of it.

Dear Prince,

How R U 2day? I am writing U 2 tell U that I really admire U and your work very much. My name is Christopher; I am 27 years old and I live in Montana, where I go 2 college 2 study French and Creative Writing. I was born and raised in Minnesota; I was three months premature at birth and suffered brain damage, which resulted in Cerebral Palsy. Because of this handicap, I must use a wheelchair. In spite of my disability, God has blessed me with a strong mind and a strong heart.

I have admired U since the age of two, and U have had--and continue 2 have--a very profound and positive influence on my life. Your music elevates my soul and makes me feel truly free. It shows me the beauty and wonder of life, and the power of God’s love and guidance. It has allowed me 2 learn and 2 grow, and it has seen me through the very happiest and the very darkest of times. Words cannot express how blessed I feel 2 have U and your music as a part of my life...

I have been 2 see U in concert twice: The first time was during the ONE NITE ALONE tour at the Seattle show in April, 2002. The second was this past December at 3121 in Las Vegas. Your live shows R simply amazing and I await the chance 2 see U again soon. It has always been my dream 2 meet U and 2 speak with U, even if just 4 a brief moment...I realize that this may never come 2 pass, just as I realize that this letter may never reach U. I hope that U R well and that U will continue 2 bless and inspire the world with your beautiful music.

All my love and gratitude,
Christopher

I once sent to Paisley Park:

Two copies of our self made Prince-Fanzine: "Free".

Made by 4 guys in Denmark (David Dyhr; Alex Mingolla; Nicolai Willumsgaard; Bo Egstrup).

It was in october 1998.

We never got any response back from Prince, but I hope he liked those articles.

If any of you wanna read it, I think I can still post those articles.

1. Meet & Greet Prince before the show in Valby Hallen, Copenhagen 1998.
2. Interview with half of the NPG at hotel SAS Royal 1998.
3. "Behind the lines", an experience backstage right before the concert in Valby Hallen 1998.

I sent some artwork to the park of Miles Davis. To my surprise the following year I noticed the print was hung in office @ Paisley. I was happy to see it nicely matted and framed.Other times I sent huge boxes of chocolate and candy.

Many fans sent him a monetary 'gift' of $77 around this time last year.

Some people got a tshirt as a thank you.

Of course Prince wont reply to any letter with a letter back. That's silly. You got to think wider/further. Why not seek "replies" in, let's say, his lyrics instead...wink

We sent him and the band thank-you notes to Paisley Park after my daughter sang with him. They didn't come back, so I assume someone read them. No reply, but we weren't expecting one, either.
