Sad. He is not old. Jeez! He made excellent music when he was rich and also when he was starting out. What does money have to do with talent, it comes to you BECAUSE you are talented. You guys are thick. For the last time I never said he should be desperate I never said he should be in financial ruin but don't you think if he had more financial motivation he would be at the Grammys tonght. I'm watching the preshow right now and he's nowhere to be found. | |

My dear, it is you who are thick for not realizing people would interpret "money problems" (your phrase) exactly as they did. Now, you change it to "financial motivation" and get insulting about it. And, no - I don't think "financial motivation" makes a whit of difference to Prince. That's not what drives him.  We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. Thank you RodeoSchro your the only poster in this thread with some common sense. How could Prince possibly have the passion he once did when he's worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I know he still records a lot but he loves recording that's his comfort zone. You do extaordinary things when you're forced out of your comfort zone and I don't think that's possible when you don't have to worry. | |

No we need Prince to fuck another fan (ie: Mani) so he will do everything he did in 2004. Play tons of tv gigs, tour and make $90 million.
