Prince - How about concert to raise money for Haiti? To fill up a stadium, people would come.
Radio head just raised $500,000 for Haiti but ticket prices were high. Prince could do something similar at much bigger venue. Well, I just moved to California. How about in LA, Prince? Regards

Maybe he donated privately? Rather than calling Entertainment Tonight or CNN and telling how much they donated to Haiti like other celebs. [Edited 1/29/10 13:33pm]

That's a myth and a stigma that has been put on all Haitians for years. All Haitians do not practice Voodoo. Many are superstitious about it and believe it exists, but don't practice it. The same stigma is attached to people in New Orleans. There's many Haitian descendants living in New Orleans. Both Haitians and many Black New Orleans residents speak similar forms of Creole and share Haitian ancestors. The voodoo practice was shown in the film "Eve's Bayou" which took place in New Orleans. Most may know of it, and believe it exists, but doesn't mean they practice it. The majority of Haitians in Haiti are Catholic, some are Jehovah Witnesses, and other Haitians practice other religions. [Edited 1/29/10 13:33pm] Exactly ppl, lay off it. Prince doesn't need to publicize everything he does. He's an asshole, but not a media whore. "The voter is less important than the man who provides money to the candidate," - Former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens
