Prince's days of touring are over?

Not since the Musicology Tour has Prince mounted a full tour, this is actually the longest span he has gone without one, could he have called it quits for tours? Now i know he played 21 nights in the UK, but that was all in one spot, thats not a tour, thats one concert 21 times.

It wasn´t really ONE concert 21 times, there were changes in the setlist.
And remember he had that Vegas residence, too. Maybe it´s less stressful and maybe even more inspiring to stay in one place for a while instead of touring through a bunch of countries.Could also be financially more feasible to stay in one place.

well thats what i mean though there are artists that are shacking up at one place for a bit but they are still touring places, examples Elton John, plays vegas for a period of time but still has tours where he plays everywhere, Bon Jovi is another that will play the uk for a bunch of shows, but then is touring for over a year in other spots.

I just think Prince at this point has hit that point where touring may not happen anymore, and alot of places may not get to see him again.

It's weird how fans don't seem to be talking much about this. Even 21 Nights was four years ago now.

I can't see him embarking on a full scale tour again, unless it's for the money, in which case, he'll probably just do another residency.

It's fine with me since I'm more broke now than ever. Plus he ain't what he used to be either. I'd rather have a live DVD from the early years.

Or 2 and a half years ago lol
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

No. The concerts took place in july and august 2007. So it's 2 years and 6 months ago.

He does shows here and there.

I think when he feels he wants to tour then he will.
