Indeed, but the rebel/envelope pusher who recorded "Controversy" is quite different than the saved dogmatic who did this one. Amazing isn't it? That these same stations won't play new/current songs from his last cds released (3121 and Lotusflow3r), but will play his classics instead, Yet look how quickly they wasted no time playing the snippet to this new song for the Vikings just to make fun of it. Would be nice if they jumped that quick to play his recently, released cds.Interesting. | |

After wining everyone over with his awesome Superbowl performance, as well as his Coachella and other performances, he needed to "Graffiti Bridge" things down a bit. "Slave" it down. He thrives on being a "WTF" kind of artist. Despite having one the the greatest Superbowl halftime shows ever, the NFL isn't going to be asking him back anytime soon after this crap. People who hate this song sound like the same people who trashed "Around The World in A Day" years ago. The responses to it are similiar. Prince has lost it, lost his mind, needs a producer etc. I actually like the song it's different & cool. Here's to hoping the Vikings pull off a victory for his efforts. | |
