i think prince should donate to the haiti earthquake victims..im seeing wyclef john digging through the rubble trying to save lives..cmon prince step up...

For all we know, Prince has donated. there does not need to be a public announcement.

Yeah, it's commendable and admirable that Wyclef is physically in Haiti helping out, but not everyone is able to actually do that. Some donate and help in other, less visible ways.

These "Prince should...." threads, which crop up after EVERY disaster, annoy me because nobody knows what Prince is doing in terms of helping. How can you make a thread like this when you aren't privvy to what Prince does on a day to day basis?

How do you KNOW Prince isn't 'stepping up'?

I think you should concern yourself with what you can do to help the victims of this terrible tragedy. I'm sure many celebrities/artists/musicians have donated, and every cause/charity/natural disaster they donate to does not have to be publicized or some special announcement made.

If you want to donate to Wyclef's organization, then send a text to "Yele" at 501501 - and donate $5.00. I'm sure Wyclef and the victims/survivors of the Haiti earthquake, will appreciate your generosity and concern. You can also go to the red cross' website and donate there. This recent tragedy is not about Prince, but about the victims of it.

Besides, you don't have to be a celebrity to donate to victims of a natural disaster nor do you have to have family where it happens, the only requirement is "compassion."

For those so concerned about what Prince is doing why don't they share in another thread what they are doing? Probably nothing. Just here on the org trying to tell Prince what he should be doing. People.

I sincerely hope and pray that there aren't people waiting around for Prince or anyone else, for a sign that it is ok to do what it is in their hearts, that they know is right!

Music aside, one thing i can truly say I love about Prince is that he doesnt flaunt his charitable donations around like alot of other celebrities.. I remember a tornado or some storm a few years ago hit a town that is actually named Prince somewhere in NC or SC, Prince donated money to the town and no one was the wiser.

Yep, nothing like forcing someone to be charitable.
