Sex in the Summer/Tone Loc sample what song? Wow, I just noticed this. After listening to Tone Loc's album (Loc-ed After Dark) for the first time in 20 years, I hear that the opening track, On Fire (Remix), samples the same drum loop that Prince uses on Sex in the Summer. But what song is it from?
The Emancipation booklet only mentions the baby's heartbeat, but no information about a record being sampled. Anyone know? Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com
