well actually, I care but Shelby's on Facebook and we talk from time to time there. 
... she's got an album coming out soon (co-produced by Prince) and it should be pretty good, the woman's got some lungs and power. She reminds me of Chaka Khan or Patti LaBelle. [Edited 12/30/09 9:16am] Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

Apparently Shelbey (with an "e", not to be confused with Shelby J with the new protege CD coming out in January) and Dr. Funkenberry are off the non-payroll as of now. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

Shelby J's solo album is coming out later in the year. The one coming out in January is her band BlackGypsy from what I understand. Change it one more time.. | |

Coincidentally to this thread, just last weekend I'd thought of this girl and checked her YouTube page; she hasn't put up any new videos since that last one immediately following her visit to Paisley Park.
