What would you buy Prince for Christmas?

I am sure Prince gets lots of gifts from fans all over the world.

If you could give him a special gift, just from you, what would it be?

I think I would make him something, like a picture collage of all his CD covers.

Has anyone ever sent him anything before?

I wonder what he does with it, or if he even opens it himself.

Love,
Butterscotch

No. He has the JW version, which is so off and bizarre, it shouldn't even be called a bible. The Living Bible is more "today's syntax", opposed to the "Thee" and "Thou" of the King James. And of course we have to remember that "Thee" and "thou" WAS the "syntax of today" when that version was translated in the early 17th century. But in this new age of today...that doesn't really fly. I think that's why people find it odd, or "old". The words are there, they just need to be so folks can relate to the very language itself.

I also like the Amplified Bible (which actually comes with no A/C cord, or D/C adapter HA). After certain words, it has [brackets] with words that mean the same thing, to expand the definition. Example, "For God so loved [cared for, wanted to embrace] the world, He gave [offered up as sacrifice] his only begotten [naturally born] Son." It saves look up certain words in a concordance, most times.

I wouldn't send him anything. How can you buy gifts for someone you don't know? Plus he doesn't celebrate Christmas so to him it might come off as really offensive. I would only buy him a gift if I knew him and I could give it 2 him and see his reaction when he opened it. Than the real gift would be mine not his. I doubt I will ever know him so no point thinking about it.

tinkerbell I would buy him a switch for anonymity -- so that he could turn it off and on when he wanted.

A lovely sweet British treat, a can of Quality Street, he would love the toffee pennies and strawberry candy hearts. Its an octagonal tin too, in which he can store nearly anything.
