~Prince Superimposed.

I was thinking of the video of "Unforgettable," with Natalie Cole and her Dad.

I was wondering about Prince performing with artists that have passed away...or artists that wouldn't really need to perform together.

Who would you like to see Prince superimposed with for a music video?

I would love to see Prince playing along with James Taylor singing one of his great songs like "Handy Man." That I bet Prince has played along with at some time in his life while listening to the radio.
I also try to imagine what it would be like for Prince to be singing along with a deeper vocalist, like Larry Graham, or Lou Rawls, Issac Hayes, or Barry White. ( I wonder about those kinds of harmonies )

There is no reason in particular why I did not list any female singers.

cool

I've never seen them sing 2gether...

I'm thinking about songs that are already done...Like..."I can't get enough of your love."

I'm just curious about a higher voice like Prince and deeper voice like Lou Rawls...I guess it would be easier to find out if I had Prince sing along with a cd. while I video taped. cool

I still think Prince should have covered David Bowie's Fame around Gold era - it would have been awesome!

Superimposed with a dead artist... James Brown, of course!

Working with a living artist... still would love to see him with Bowie. cool

In Vegas four years ago, Prince did a cover of Barry White's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next to Me. I didn't know Prince's voice could go that low. It was awesome. biggrin

Prince has sung with Larry Graham. I don't think he'd sound any good w/ the likes of Barry White, or Lou Rawls. Those guys are unique. James Taylor is still alive, by the way.

It's been done w/ MC Hammer. Prince would look like a cheap copy cat (of course.....he's already copied half of James' catalog).

"Fame" would have been an interesting cover to do, and it would have fit on The Gold Experience quiet well perhaps.

Charo seems like a good match.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

For such a worshipful Prince fan, you haven't payed much attention.

They did a version of 'The Chriss (the Cross)' on national T.V. earlier this decade. There have been threads complaining about the performance.

I think Prince might sound pretty good with someone like Lou Rawls. Maybe I'm saying that because I'm thinking about the interplay of he and Sam Cooke on "Bring It On Home To Me. Lou Rawls wouldn't be my choice for him to sing along with though. I'd go with Hendrix or James Brown or maybe even Miles Davis. Prince could sing "It Never Entered My Mind" with Miles on trumpet of course.

I saw the "Christ." I was basically addressing Prince singing with Deep Vocalists...To really learn about the range difference.

But Larry does have a deep voice. Also he sings w/ Larry on "Everyday Is A Winding Road", and "Push It Up" from NewPowerSoul to name a few. Prince is all over GCS2000 as well. Just sayin'...
