Prince Super Group

Pick no more than 5 bandmates including Prince himself. What would a Prince Supergroup be comprised of. Think similiar to what George Harrison did with the Traveling W'S..

Hell, a person would need a magic wand for something like that.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

i've always kinda liked the idea of a group consisting of Morrissey, Prince, Snoop, Nick Cave and Mike Patton from Faith No More. As for who plays or does what - feck knows...

I like that idea of Flea.I forgot about the RHCPeps beings fab fans of Prince. If I remember right I think a warners exec took them into Prince's studio to hear all of the cuts of Diamonds and Pearls CD before it came out.

How about...

Jason Rebello on Piano
Steward Copeland on Drums
Prince on Bass
and Aimee Mann on Vocals?

I actually think it would be cool if he could do what Sting did on 'All This Time'. Re-jigged his classic songs with new arrangements and an ensemble of about 17 musicians. Amazing for composition and the mastery of keeping all those instruments in perfect harmony. smile

Great thread!
