I was watching a really terrible film the other day called Dan in Real Life. What a waste of time that was. Anyway, in the movie there is a scene in a bar where the song Nasty Girl comes on. It is a cover version by someone called Inaya day.

Anyway, after much searching I find out it is the club mix version that is in the film. So I found it, downloaded it and have got to say, am quite impressed with it. It is a great little dance floor banger...

Does anyone know any good covers of Prince songs that would work well in a club (techno, house, breakbeat etc etc)? Not remixes, covers by other artists.

yeh, i remembr the cover version, it went top 10 in the uk charts at the time !
it was another case of people of not knowing or believing that it was a 20+ year old, Prince written track !

Love this track in all its forms! I know the remix you mean, it was big a while back in europe. And it's on davina mccall's workout dvd for anyone in uk/ireland it's perfect for something like that, has such an amazing amount of energy to it that you have to jump around to it
