Reinspiration for prince..

We all have a dry spell when we leave prince fan-dom for a while (sorry for the generlization)
what of him reminds you or gets you ''back on track'' to loving prince again (or being as passionate about him as you may have been before)
it can be one of his song(s)/album/interview/movies whatever (relevant to prince)

MJ got me back on track w/Prince. I stopped buying his stuff in the late 90s, although I still liked his music. I took for granted he would be around for years and years still performing like so many others--BB King, The Stones, Gladys Knight, Donna Summer, etc. But when MJ passed, it woke me up! I decided I better listen and appreciate his music now, while he's still there and performing! wink

This is my story exactly too! Bless MJ RIP. But now it would be new music of Prince.

old music...just have to get into a phase of listening to some of the older jams (mostly pre 90s). New music sometimes reminds me of the great old music but doesn't work by itself.

And new live performances always have the opposite effect with P censoring and editing himself in unflattering ways...plus constant The Hits
