UPDATE 6 pics: 'Musical Portrait' Tv-special.. what a stunt: did U notise the studio rehearsals.. ?

In the Musical Portrait Tv special, there's a scene with Prince rehearsing with his band, Prince with his shades on.. in a studio in London 1988 if I'm not mistaken,

But did you notise:

Prince is playing 2 instruments at the same time !

IF I recall corectly: Prince is playing keyboards with his right hand while playing guitar with his left hand, omg... what a stunt... cool

(you may ask HOW is it possible to play guitar with 1 hand, but it's like in the guitar solo to Purple Rain - the film/ music video, where he's playing the solo shortly with his left hand only..),

Now, the Musical Portrait: this scene only takes a few seconds, but this short scene is amazing like hell... biggrin

I'm only mentioning this to those who maybe wasn't aware of this,

I wish I had a pic from the tv screen,

I wonder if someone can make this screen-pic (if it's allowed here)???

^ I have just found my VHS tape with this:

the scene is taking about 3 seconds at the end of the program, shown while Prince is singing "The Ladder".

He doesn't wear shades after all.

But wow this clip is very amazing. cool

I'll have to take a look at that video again. An electric guitar can be played with one hand by doing hammer-ons and pull-offs - but it usually only sounds good if ya gots skillz. biggrin

The first NPGMC released version of The Work Pt. 1 has Prince playing keyboards and guitar at the same time.

Yes, and you need guitar or amps with good sustain. I'm sure that Model C could be played without the right hand.

Prince could play the Model C with his mind. The "C" stood for Cerebellum.

And you need to turn the bass and gain way up.

Besides all the obvious reasons I already gave you, I also like the thought of knowing that a woman cares about her vagina and spends time on her to make it look and feel good for herself and others.

Myself, my sis and a friend were approached at the end of the concert and asked to stick around for some filming and a Q&A session along with around 20-30 others. Of course we all thought Prince was gonna be there, he wasn't! It was about 30 mins of some dude asking us to describe what Prince meant to us, how we felt listening to his music etc..(At that time, 88, Prince was at the peak of his powers, so everyone spoke in close to religious terms about the man). It was so cool. I met him that day too, at a record signing event in Tower records in London. We had travelled to London from Dublin for the concert and got a whole lot more than we bargained for! Amazing day.
