Prince For You album appreciation

why isnt this album talked about or ever mentioned on the org? this was princes first album with his first single "Soft&Wet" too be honest i think it contains some of his best love songs ever

and forgive my ignorance but was there ever a tour for this album? or did prince ever perform some of these songs off of this album live in any of his live performances???

but yeah lets talk about does any body else like this album?? or im i alone on this one?

I've just recently started to reacquaint myself with this record. I've largely ignored it all these years. I put my Japanese CD on to compare the fidelity to the US version a couple of months ago and I've kept it in regular rotation. It's got a dated sound, but still - a pretty damn good first record.

I've got this album just about three weeks ago and it's pretty good! I really respect Prince's production work - for 18 year old boy it's great.

Roses Galore as far as I feel.

"For You," seems to penetrate a time boundary. When I first heard it after I had heard, "1979 Prince." I felt this album very magical. Alive...Living and breathing all of the time.

"For You," will be my favorite album of all time. It's sewn into my Soul.

ok , you are correct

but it's true that his record company advertized the album in local newspapers saying he was 18

For You is one of my favorite ablums by Prince btw..
