Has PRINCE ever RUINED someone's career?

It's a double edged sword isn't it? I mean, having all that fame and notoriety. No matter who you run into, if you spend enough time with them, you make them instantly famous for no other reason than you're somehow attached to them.

Under The Cherry Moon didn't ruin Kristin-Scott Thomas' career - she's done very well for herself and was nominated for an Oscar.
