So I'm in HMV today, and I pick up this leaflet and under New Releases for this month, I see:

"Prince - Love Songs"

Anyone know what the deal is?

Really? I haven't seen this. I wouldn't have thought it was the sort of thing Prince would agree to do, was there any more info?

Yeah, the first CD I bought (granted, my bad) was like a greatest hits by WB, not actually Prince

Still, a greatest hits is kind of excusable, but a love song compilation? That's so cheesy Like those cd's you see called 'Chillout songs', 'Sad Songs' etc

I'd love to see what they put on it I think they'd get as far as If I Was Your Girlfriend and loose the concept

off the top, these would be the type o' jams WB may put on this comp.

I searched the HMV website and couldn't find any information on this alleged release. Probably will never see the light of day.

sounds like someone's made a mistake -
there's no WB Prince releases scheduled as far as I'm aware.

Re: Crucial - remember if this is a WB compilation then they will only have access to songs from albums released before 1995(ish?) Crucial was released on Crystal ball independently. and the general populace do not recognize this as a classic - even though we know it is!
