What would you tell Prince about himself if you could have a deep conversation with him?

I had a dream about Him last night. Some lady I guess I was close to gave me a cellphone and said it was Prince on the other line. I held the phone up to my ear and was thrilled to hear when he answerd. He was telling me to keep it brief and so I began raving about how talented he was. Then, I started to get into the heavy stuff about God , but it was alluding to quirks in his personality.So, my question is what would say you to His Purple Badness if could have a meaning conversation with him ? What would you tell him to do differently ?

This isn't really relating to your question but I've had dreams with Prince in as well!

The one I remember was when Prince for some reason lived upstairs from me and my boyfriend, and when we had an argument I went upstairs to P's and he cooked me dinner. It was all very strange.

i had a dream about him too, i dreamed that he gave me a necklace he was wearing and he put it around my neck....as for what i would tell him....just do whatever you feel like doing, dont listen to waht everybodt else says.

i'd refer him back to Little Richards quote in the '88 Lovesexy documentary. I hated LR at the time for saying it but damn he was sooo speaking the truth. 'A little bit of something beats a whole lot of nothin'.
P's albums now do not serve him as a piece of art , they are merely a collection of songs to promote tix for gigs. Some recent albums have been great and some a real miss. So I would tell him the 1 thing that he would never listen to i.e. slow down, focus and think about the content, the lyric and the production rather than rushing at 100mph on everything he does. His true genius has suffered becasue of this. Of course I would then get fired!.

I wouldn't like to tell him anything, but I'd like to ask him what was the turning point for him in becoming a JW. Apart from the insight from Larry.

I'd ask about his passion for music, about his inspirations and about the lack of inspiration of course..
I'd ask about God and the real meaning for him without referring to the eternal bible written by men.
I'd ask him to become my friend, the one I've been talking to for years, but for real, with whom I'd share views.
Definetely, I won't have anything to tell about him to himself, for he is the only one who knows himself.

I'd say..Eye hate you...but would you dance with me??? i got a chocolate box with diamonds and pearls, its automatically for you cause i adore you. etc.

Do what is right not what looks good to the press.


Give something to somebody because it makes them feel good, not because it will make you feel good.

1. How does he deal w/ all the false rumors and gossip about him, Besides Dr. Funkenberry

2. How hed handle finding out his woman was freaking everybody and lying to him.

3. If he knew the name of a good actor's agent.

Easy.....

1 - Have the fucking hip surgery so you can walk again.
2 - Ditch the JW's because, if you are truthful, deep down you know that their beliefs aren't yours.
3 - Remaster and re-release all your albums from 78-90 without interfering with them, updating them or editing out the naughty bits. Let them stand as the history they are.
4 - Release all of your promo videos from 79-99 on DVD.
5 - Don't release an album for at least 3 years then come back with a killer and blow the charts.
6 - Have Wendy & Lisa co-produce it with FULL credit.
7 - Stop being a fucking web Nazi and realise that fan websites are the best source of promotion you can have.
9 - Take someone else's advice in regards to your career rather than the voices in your head for once.
9 - Announce a project and actually stick to doing it rather than getting fans hopes up, getting bored or changing your mind.
10 - Give me back my fucking $77 for the crap website you scammed me into thinking would be "an entirely new galaxy".

I would tell him how much I love his music and tell him how much time I spend listening to it and how superior I think he is to other musicians. I would tell him about my favorite songs like When Doves Cry, Sometimes It Snows In April etc. I would tell him that I support his strive for independence in the music world and that he's a good example. I would tell him that I think his lyrics reflect that he's a really nice person.

I would also tell him that I really don't think it's in his best interest to be a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. I have JW relatives. This is an organization that shuns ex-members, won't even say hi to them on the street, has made multiple false predictions officially and that has an authoritarian and sectarian nature. You deserve better. Everybody deserves better.
