Which one of the two versions do you love more ? One night alone version or MPLS ?

I like them both! I have always loved this song very heart pulling. I think the part about gimme a page is pretty much what it sounds like. Maybe he think the girl got his number but just won't call. Maybe the girl is like I had your number lost it and can't call you, but the next time you see me say something ya know. Only P really knows and he ain't giving us no insight...I wish he would.

ONA without doubt. New version is a big step down imo

Newer version for sure. That's not to say the ONA version is bad. I just prefer the newer if I had to listen to it.

Same goes with "The Dance". The one on 3121 is highly superior to the NPGMC version.

whenever I see the title of this song, I get it mixed up with "The 1 U Wanna See"...and then I click the thread and get mad cuz I reliaze its about a song I dont like

I love the Mpls version too, can almost hear some Clare Fisher's string in the background (ok, ok , I know it's only a synth !!!! Let me imagine it...)

ONA version easily.

TBH I think he ruined it on Mplsound. The verses are all stuttery never allowing a flow to develop. No atmosphere in the Chorus. In a word; Sterile.

I absolutely love the song and I can enjoy both versions equally. It would be a hard choice because it depends on my mood.
ONA version sounds a bit sadder to me, but again so beautiful...
