Hey there folks, now I heard that you used to be able to buy these through npgmc, but I believe the store (which was kept open after the main site was closed) is now actually closed?

If so, anybody know if shecter sell these through their site? or weather their is a company that build custom cloud guitars?

There are still some of those Shecter ones available online, either Ebay or elsewhere, and then there are several luthiers who build cloud guitars. One of them is even here on the org sometimes, or at least he used to be ( Leon, I think).And then there are those very rare, better sounding cloud guitars that pop up on Ebay sometimes and that are not to be confused with the Shecter models.

I saw one authentic looking cloud for sale for 10.000 guilders in Den Bosch after one of the Ultimate Live/Gold Experience shows back in March 1995. Someone had it standing in the trunk of his car and it had that 10.000 price tag attached to it. It was the peach colored one which looked like straight out of the SOTT movie.

Don´t really know if it was legit but it looked good.

Wow that would be crazy, but those peach clouds look beautiful, Im thinking of buying one after x-mas, but dont want those cheap scheter, I want some EMG pick ups just like the orginals...

You could buy a one-piece Schecter and put the appropriate electronics on it. The hardware and the shorter headstock horn are the main differences between the two. The different type of wood used is going to matter to a much lesser degree.
