One of the baddest, most attitude filled, hippest, relevant, cool, fonky tracks he's ever put out.

I think it's horrible. Maybe one of the worst 3 songs on the album. I'm normally into all the Camille tracks, but this one is agitating both lyrically and musically. If you want proof that Prince doesn't know music on a fundamental level, but mostly just kind of asses around in the studio until he has a track this is the song that proves it. I know that sounds shocking to some, but it's the only explanation I can think of at this point for the mysterious lack of musical intelligence that has plagued Prince music since LoveEcstacy came out in '88.

There it is then...For all of us who think O.S.C is the shit apparently it actually is shit. Once again I am indebted to a 'prince fan' for keeping it real..thank you, now go and get your fucking ears tested!

I like it. I could do without all the celebrity name-checking at the end (and throughout the album actually), but it's still a funky groove. For detailed discussion and critical analysis of Prince Music, check out our Aussie podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

And what about your lack of intelligence to keep listening to music you don´t like

This thread forced me to go and listen to it again. I had to go to lotusflower coz I've taken it off my hd already. I also took the time to read the lyrics, for the first time. So ok. Yes lyrically, very interesting, but sorry this sound just ain't my sound. I can't listen to the music part or the rappy vocal element. Leaves me cold. It has nothing to do with Prince just not my thing. "You're just another part of me" MJ

"fake grills and gold medellions all that put aside" It is awesome indeed! Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.

Like I said, I know for some of you the idea is shocking. Especially Fams. 10 years ago I could never have imagined that Prince wasn't capable of doing whatever he wanted musically, but the evidence is clearly in now. And it's all over LameAzzFiller, which, I believe is Prince's absolute best effort. It's the best he can do and it's boring and mostly not very enjoyable. OSC shoot's itself in the foot time and again. The lyrics attack the listener, picking a fight for no particular reason. The music is neither uplifting or relaxing, it's just annoying. It's not the work of a savvy veteran songwriter. It's just Prince lashing out at people. Apparently this time the crime is being young. I'm tired of Prince's pity party songs.
