All Day All Night was release with Jill Jones It's like saying, is Prince finally going to release 777-9311 Noon Rendezvous was performed live by Prince and the Revolution on 6.7.84 at 1st Avenue, was that a song Prince intended for himself or for someone else? The lyrics are framed after a womans intent. Prince intended for a Jill Jones album early on say 82-85 All Day All Night was probably intended for her since then. G-Spot too Now where I come from

i;m a long time Prince fan.. i realize all of that history... I want him to release his versions of all those unreleased gems!!!. I think his long time fans want that badly.. The orginal verson of " old friends 4 sale", "all my dreams". "all day,all night", " a place in heaven", "witness 4 the prosecution", " the dance elctric.. and so on... HIS versions ... Nobody sings it like him... cause those are his songs.. "love thy will be done", his version!!!.. "open book" BOB4theFUNK | |

Jill's version is out, Prince's version is out, and the video of Prince actually recording the song w/ the Revolution on June 7, 1984 in the Warehouse is out. I have them all. Ernest L Sewell, IV

Just because he sings it doesn't mean he will release it. Just be glad he is acknowledging the songs ("that most of us already have" lol) and performing them. good thing I cook or else we'd starve to death...aint that a shame? | |

The same for a lot of people here, who also realise that it's likely just wishful thinking rather than a likely event, regardless of what he sings live. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |
