No more candy 4 u very 80 81ish

Does anyone know if he lifted this from his early 80s vault.Doesnt sound like a song that in his current sensibility. Whatever the case one of the best songs from lotus.

JesusFreak

he wasn't as religous as he is these days back then, and this is a song in that spiritual field. clearly looking at the very current lyrics, it's in his sensibility.

thank God he changed it up by adding that suprising pop in there,
the fact that it sounds straight from the 80s is probably the reason I love it so much

I just don't like this song, and Valentina either.

This is one of those songs where you find yourself singing along to, irritatingly enough! It's just catchy and the lyrics are cheeky.

It sounds intentionally this way, which, whilst initially a novelty, also makes my interest in it fleeting.

No More Candy 4 U could have fit on Controversy alongside Ronnie Talk 2 Russia. The original Tick Tick Bang worked that style as well. Fun, fast, funky!!!

I've got a new thread and a dildo 4 U. If U don't like the new thread then U can go fuck yourself!

Fantastic song that grabs me and doesn't let go. I love the energy and urgency on this song. It's such a great song.

I was hooked on it yesterday. The two last songs on MPLSound make up for a lot of what's lacking from the previous tracks (in general I view it as a failed, if fun, album).

To me, it sounds like the songs off of MPLSound could be tracks from his albums in the 80's.

How Prince’s letter, in which Prince blames himself for the beating he received, will affect the case is a matter of speculation, as is why Prince assigned blame to himself.

It is Perfect Prince all the way.

Also should be noted how there R also elements of later Prince styles in there as well. The rock opera vocal section in particular.

I LOVE this jam.

I tried..but same here, I'm just not feeling this one.
Everything, even down to the recording quality makes me want to drop kick the skip button.

It does seem to fit snugly alongside the likes of Ronnie Talk To Russia
and Jack U off. I love it, such a throwaway sensibility
but done with such confidence and bravado that it's just irresistible -
and there's no doubt it would ROCK OUT live!
Not that he'll ever do it live, would be great though!

Well if thats the case he must have written the lyrics recently :"2 all the haters on the internet, no more candy 4 U"

There weren't any internet in the 80s..

I think its a throw back to that sound and that time and its new..
