so first he sues youtube or whatever and all his videos have to be
taken down because of some home video footage with his song in BG.

now all of a sudden his pseudo-official news agent is posting links
to a) a remix that has yet to be released to retail and b) a video
that was posted exclusively on lotusflower.com.

what's the objective here? to keep stepping on subscribers' dicks??
it's not bad enough that the official site has 0.0 updates but now
they feel the need to drip it's "exclusive" content onto youtube -
youfuckingtube of all places?

anyway, glad to see that some of his clips are back on there since
it's probably the only way for a lot of people to see that stuff.

i just wonder why he doesn't take lotusflower off line completely
and just posts something like "i took the money and ran, thank you"

this is just weird. i dont have a clue what princes gameplan is, but he really seems to have lost all ability to coordinate a succesful release or cater to his fans needs in any way...im so glad i didnt sign up to lotusflow3r, hes dicked so many people over.

why is this the first opportunity we have to listen to this? from dr fb? posted by someone called "mplsound"...can we assume this is an officiall prince youtube account?

its just a mess.

I think we should all write letters to paisley park or a sign a online petetion for a refund or 4 prince to give everyone what they paid for (songs,concerts,music videos).

I didnt join,i was speaking 4 the fans that feel cheated. I did go out and purchase the CD though,but i do know that he has tons of music and concerts in his vaults and i guess u can say that im never satisfied and want more. futhermore y in hell charge 77 for nothing? i hear tons of complaints. Nothing happening on the site,poor quality t-shirts,lame remixes not even done by prince. We need answears.

I happen to like this song, and I like the remix too.

I also want to add that I am so, so sick and tired of hearing, seeing the word "lame", put it to bed, or find a new expression, it's like watching robots.

I have no prob with the good Doc getting exclusives. Its not his fault Prince isn't releasing exlusive material, as was suggested, via Lotusflow3r.

That said...

Ughhh... I HATE this re-mix. It might do well in some clubs which play similar 'house' music. But... I'll just stick with the original version.

I love Dance 4 Me but this new remix is ghastly. I couldn't listen to it anymore after a minute and a half. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Well I must be the only one excited about hearing and seeing Prince music on youtube. It seems like the tide is shifting in the right direction and I could not be any happier. Hell we all should be excited because something positive for ALL fans seems to be happening. Lets see what the next step is in the strange chapter and hope for the best.

As for the lotusflow3r site, yes the site is a ripoff but I am a member and I chose to join it. Prince didn't force me to join and I knew there was a possibility that the site wasn't going to be all that but I chose to join anyway. It's nice to see folks trying to speak for fans who joined but I for one don't need any fan who didn't join the site to speak for me. Hell I don't even need those who did join to speak for me cause I'm a grown man who did this on his own. Besides, it isn't necessary and it won't change matters any. I don't regret joining cause I went in looking at the full picture, so I'm disappointed but not bent out of shape over it. If Prince were to do an online venture again I probably won't be so quick to jump on it but I'll still support the dude in other ways like buying his music and going to the concerts cause I love him and his work. I'm not making excuses for him cause this is a big mess that shouldn't have been but there's nothing I can do about it. This is not the end of the world.

I liked the remix. The original is much funkier though. It probably sounds much better at the club. I could jam to it.

Well, thank goodness he did not mar the pristine, desert-like, tumbleweed-blowing desolate beauty of his own website with this.

I can't even bother listening to or critiquing the song right now! The utter HYPOCRISY of it all has rendered me totally flabbergasted!
