Prince and Tennis?

I recently started playing Tennis again, and I noticed there is a brand called Prince that does Rackets and Balls,
Do u think they had the Name before Prince was on the scene?
I wonder if they ever did any promotions with Prince?
or if Prince ever plays Tennis, I like it and I think it's fun.....

cool

Prince the company was around long before Prince the musician.
They never did anything with each other.
Prince played basketball. I've never heard/read of him playing any other sports.
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I know when Prince spaghetti used a rock concert in one of their commercials back in the 80's they got an angry letter from Prince's lawyer. It was good pasta. lol

Was the Triple Threat Tour named before or after the tennis racquet of the same name? http://www.tennis-warehou...TSCRM.html

Either way it looks like the Triple Threat has been superceded by the O3. range.

bizarre.

Prince did have a basketball court AND a tennis court at his old house, though.

The offending commercial:

hondalicious99 (3 months ago)
i worked with the pr agency that worked with freberg on this and prince certainly did have a problem with it, or at least the cease and desist letter asked us to do just that. which of course got the spaghetti company millions of dollars in free publicity. the real funny story is what happened we sentthe wall street journal a dub which had video from a s&m film not edited out by the dub house. the agency got embarrassed in the press because the dub house gave us reused tape!

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

That was funny and mildly disturbing, I heard that Prince Loves him some spaghetti, and Orange Soda? I make a mean pasta, I have always thought cooking pasta with your lover is one of the most Romantic ideas for a night in cool

Roger, the so called GOAT of tennis plays with Prince rackets so does ARod.
Tennis is a great sport so keep it and enjoy!

As far as the spaghetti ad goes. How dare they use Prince to sell their product. I would have been stark raving mad mad I mean there is no correlation between pasta and music.

This reminds me of an interview with his former girlfriend Anna Garcia (Anna Fantastic) i once read.

She said her and Prince used to play tennis a lot during their relationship. biggrin
