anyone heard the "dance 4 me" remix yet?

i know the monaco shows are already circulating and all and
it was reported that the DANCE 4 ME remix was played over the
PA several times before the 1st show started.

however, if i've heard correct, the song has not been included
on any of the circulating monaco bootlegs.

were any orgers lucky enough to be in monaco and did you hear
the remix?

if so, what does it sound like? is it very different? is it an
extended version?

please let it be an 8 minute extended version a la scarlet pussy

i've heard the supposed 'single edit' that's out there and that
surely has to be a fake. the editing is very badly done and it's
-at least imo- most certainly nothing prince did himself.

Prince hasn't done a decent remix since the "Come On" Maxi-Single in my opinion, and hasn't done any remixing at all since TGRES Maxi-Single and "Rave In2 the Joy Fantastic"

Boy, I took those remixes for granted - some of my favorite songs are Prince remixes (e.g. Space Universal Love Remix, Violet the Organ Grinder, etc...

My theory: Prince has gotten on this "my songs are my children" B.S. and therefore doesn't think any of his songs need any altering from their present state, it'd destroy their sanctity. Oh well - we've gotten more remixes from him than most artists so I'll be happy.

I'm beginning to think the "Dance 4 Me(Remix)" is the org version of a unicorn. Everyone claims to have seen it or know where it is but no one can produce it for verification. There hasn't even been an offical single released yet and all the talk is about the REMIX.

i dunno about that. he's rerecorded "sexy mf" and a mash-up version of "sexy dancer" that he also plays live. of course, he hasn't released these tracks. but there's also the matter of him re-recording "the dance" and the song from the one nite alone album. i think he's okay with altering his songs as long as he's the only one doing it.

i've not heard the whole remix but the clips on the making of video suck, not my thing at all, i'm not a dance/club music fan. hey ho

I've heard it and like it only because on the other spector of music, I am a huge lover of the teckno sound (Tiesto); if mifht make it in certain clubs. athough its too soon to tell.
