It's in French, but basically it claims Lotusflow3r is to be released on 7 September as a "limited edition" 3-CD set, and also as a single disc -- but the single disc is actually MPLSound.

I remember hearing talk about Prince possibly performing in France several months ago before the Montreux performance, and now it sounds like there will be a perfornance or two there this "fall".

odd that he would chose MPLSound but then again maybe not, since the single is from that disc. But he's still calling it Lotusflow3r... which is kinda interesting.

I guess MPLSound really is just the sorta subtitle of Disc 2 with Lotusflow3r being the main title of the project, kinda like Kate Bush and The 9th Wave on the 2nd side of the Hounds of Love, perhaps?

Does anybody know if it's going to be issued in Switzerland too (french part)? We have the same distributors over here...
On a more personal note, I have to admit that it annoys me having to buy Bria's cd with the whole package... I couldn't care less

I'm pretty sure in fact, i don't know what all this is about: i bought my CDs long ago in Germany (at a Saturn market) ...i think it was 20 Euro....???

Yeah, but that wasn't a "limited edition" and a piece that was supposed to be sold outside the US. I don't think it was his plan that the album would be available like that. Hence a limitied edition version now. ?
