depends on what's going on. if it's a party onstage and there's a party around me, then i'm gonna dance. if prince is off in guitargodland, then i usually just stand there in awe and try to take it all in. if it's piano medley time, i usually have a seat and relax.

Okay, that's a more accurate answer for me. smile

Who waits I line for 8-10 hours? Not a a Prince concert. He's never been first come first served.

Wrong. He's done a lot of general admission shows since 2006.

nod

when i saw him with tamar, it was GA.

aftershows are always GA to the best of my knowledge.

2 of the 3 gigs on 7/7/07 were GA.

paisley shows were GA...

As much as possible, I do try to move myself, sometimes we're stuck to each other as sardines, that it's just almost impossible to move and dance.
Last concerts 02 Arena was easy to move legs, whereas at the Indigo: impossible.

i don't think there's a wrong thing to do, as long as you're feeling it. if you're standing perfectly still but in your head you're having the best time ever, then hey, god bless ya. don't let anyone tell you how to act. they should be worrying about their own good time more than yours!

lol At Indigo2 Shelby came out, practically shouting at us "If you don't want to party GO HOME, if you don't want to party GO HOME!!" We were like "No WAY" But yes Prince feeds off the audience, he always says it's a two way thing. And I agree, how ANYONE can just stand there when that music starts, especially in a small venue is beyond me too. Yep! sore hands, sore feet, happy heart... biggrin

You haven't said anythng but the truth right there! It hurts so good! lol

Oh yeah... ! Love that song lol I never take my eyes off the man though! wink

I've spent an entire concert (ok, a few) in a trance...right in front of him, just staring into his eyes.

But I have spent a hundred more having the time of my life.

Come on!! Its his royal badness!
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here
