It's really a shame that the fallout between Prince and Warners prevented the album being marketed properly. For the non hardcore non bootlegage owning fan the accompaning tour was a bit of a non starter as there was only really TMBGITW

Emancipation! I played "joint 2 joint" hundreds of times. That's one of my all time favorite Prince song.

Even though D&P is my fav I'll say Emancipation-it really doesn't get a fair chance. It is really great.

For so long, it was Emancipation and Diamonds and Pearls, with not far behind.

Now, I play Chaos and Disorder and more than anything else from the nineties, unless Crystal Ball counts in this thread, specifically The Truth. Never thought I'd listen to that as much as I do, but I appreciate the immediacy and passion of it as much as the songs themselves.
