cause it's common knowledge that strat's rock guitar i have a white one

I have 2 Fender Strats myself (both lefty models)--a white one with standard Fender single-coil pickups and a black one w/ a white pickguard and a DiMarzio rail-style humbucking pickup and 2 Fender single-coils.

I've been thinking about buying a Fender Telecaster, too.

tele's r cool which makes u ponder y he chose a hohner instead of a fender in the 1st place
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I love him playing the Ibanez jazz guitar. I have a similar one (Ibanez AF125 artcore custom). I read somewhere that Prince's is actually the George Benson signature model.

I read somewhere, so I'm not sure if this is true, that he found his 1st Hohner Tele in a pawn shop and liked how it sounded and has been playing them ever since.

The funny thing is he's been playing these Hohner tele's for years, but doesn't actually endorse them. Hohner calls their tele the "Artist" guitar.

Schecter Guitars made a copy of the Cloud model, and it was for sale on the old NPG website.

That (sort of) happened already. MTV had a special called "Art of Musicology" or something like that, and Prince played some songs on acoustic guitar and did an interview with Sway.

Really I never saw nor heard of that. What was the set list? Where was it? I guess I wasn't talking about an acoustic section of a major stadium show like during the Musicology tour. I mean I saw him do an acoustic section of his ONA show in London and he did a great acoustic version of 7 and Don't Play Me. It was great! But I guess in a small studio setting, with a specific show with arrangements with an Unplugged vibe or arrangement, without all the synth and electrics... More broken down into a raw acoustic set. I would love it..

More than that I would like it to be a DVD/CD that I could watch over and over. I think my non Prince friends would be impressed to see him in a more relaxed laid back setting too...

Prince did a full acoustic set with acoustic guitar during one night at the xenophobia 7 nights at Paisley park in 2002. it was incredible, you must find a copy. Many people on the org were there. It was one of his best shows ever.

Do you have a set list of what he played? Was it a proper set of acoustic or a big medley..?

i like the love symbol guitar
and the yellow cloud guitar
i want to re-enact waynes world and stand outside its windows and say ''it will be mine..oh yes..it will be mine'''
and the voice of reason calmly saying ''...no it won't''
''now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, a fanatical criminal''
