Synesthesia

I've recently heard of
synesthesia
and i ask myself if there are any orgers who have this quality and want to kindly share what colours they see when they watch Prince or hear any of his songs.

Miles Davis was said to have synesthesia and his music and drawings reflected the colours he saw in his mind.

Thanks.

Red and blue, when it comes to Prince, mostly. The idea of seeing music as a colour has always intrigued me and has been part of my reality since I was an infant. I know I sound like a total fruitcake to anyone that has not experienced this phenomena, but believe me when I say that it's a truly beautiful experience.

Thank you exenn.
As far as I know red is the colour for people with power and energy.
But you say you see him blue too. What´s the meaning of that colour for you?

Red + Blue is purple.

Thanks.

As it relates to his music? Missed opportunity, depression, loneliness, evolution. Those come to mind, as well as others that are less clear.

That's very interesting. Thank you very much.
I´d really love to have those colour perceptions.
But in a way I come to agree with you and I feel
that sadness in a lot of his songs.
Some people, even though they have everything, seem that
they are never going to be happy. I could be wrong but
I think Prince is one of them.

I apologize. I didn't read it.
I thought it was another whack-ass-band comparing themselves to Prince.

Sorry, I'm wasted.

I've heard of this. There's a Purple Fact that relates to this somewhere... let me look it up...
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
