Lovesexy. I never saw SOTT in person, so perhaps I'm biased unfairly, but there will always and forever be a special place in my heart for the Lovesexy tour.

Lovesexy was the better, one of the two.

They were both the best tours for me. Lovesexy is my favorite album, so I'm going with the Lovesexy tour.

I like Sign of the times tour better than lovesexy. I guess bcuz of the setlist and band. lovesexy had 2 many hits and songs being performed. S0TT focused on that album and a few hit songs.

Same band, and the Lovsexy show usually ran about 1/2 hour longer than the SOTT shows (room for more songs).

SOTT; all the songs were played completely, no medleys. Lovesexy was just way overproduced and slick. No fun at all actually.

Difficult. I was at a Lovesexy show, and it was the best show I ever saw by anyone. He cancelled my SOTT show, so have to go on the movie and boots.

One thing about Prince, before I can really enjoy the 'era' it changes, changes too soon. I love the clothing for the SOTT tour/era much better than the Lovesexy, but I loved the Lovesexy look too

Lovesexy: the positive was also the negative point: the stage. It was a great stage-setup, in the round, but it was difficult to follow what was happening when you were in the lower seats, the sound was bad, the technologie wasn't then what it is now, and a stage in the middle of a big hall isn't easy to get good sound. the band members and prince had to move so much, so that everybody saw something interesting now and then, that it left no room for improvisation. SOTT was a great stage, focus, great songs, well played, good sound, but parade was even more fun! Good points one thing I loved about the Parade tour as well and similar to the Purple Rain tour and 1999 tour was the constant intermingling of Prince & the Revolution and proteges a fellow member and I were talking about/watching A Love Bizarre video/performance... that was Uptown at it's best, I mean it was Prince the Revolution, Sheila E and band Eric Leeds Jerome and they just jammed and did their moves and were in costume just a hot show That's just one thing SOTT missed out on, Even thought Madhouse was the opening act sometimes and Jill Jones released her album All the proteges were now in his band lol Sheila E would have generally been promoting her album and mingling with Prince's band(which stunk that such a good album didn't go further) Too bad Jill Jones wasn't apart of the show Now where I come from
