I loved this performance.

I've watched this so many times I could put the pics in order and still tell u EXACTLY wat was being said/happenin in each pic too

I barely even remember this, but I remember being slightly unimpressed.

This is one of my fav performances of his! The seamless segue into the 6/8 feel of Satisfid, Tamar's astonishingly awesome rendition of Never Loved a Man, Sheila's psychussion freakout...I could watch it over and over, if the computer would let me (the copyright wont work now!! Boo!)

One of his best ever performances, imo.....

That was one of the best performances I have ever seen of ANY artist. Prince had that place rockin'.

I loved this performance.
I have it on my TV Appearances 1980-2006 - 6 Volume DVD set.
Had to brag a lil' bit!
I loved everyones reaction when Morris & Jerome came out.
Priceless!

It's hard to believe he did this almost exactly one year before 3121 came out. WTF happened with that album? :/

The fact that they let him play for that length of time at an awards show was amazing! It spoke to the amount of respect the have for the man and his music. When I counted the songs I was like "damn it just became a Prince concert".

That night is the only time Prince has blown my mind and satisfied me as a fan this decade.

I think it sucks that we cannot watch clips like this and others whenever we choose. He looked great that night.

Quality over quantity. DMSR was sterile and boring. He didn't play drums. He plays much better guitar solos on most other TV performances from this decade. What a boring performance.

I was there in attendance at this show in the fifth roll. It was a magical evening. Everybody was up partying when Prince FINALLY came out. It was goin at lightning speed.This was the beginning night of the after party shows at his mansion here in LA.....
