For Some Strange Reason Im Not Feeling Prince The Same Do you feel the same way,it seems like when The King Of Pop died,my feelings for Prince droped 2 knotches(or wutever)im still listen to his music though.Maybe im scared hes gonna pass away. | |

i feel the same way too i love prince but man if i would have herd prince instead of michael i don't know what i'd do i don't even want to think about prince dying i've been watching mj videos and tv special all yesterday and today it just doesn't feel real like he's not dead i'm so heart broken i just can't believe it i never expect him to die man i feel for all those hard core mj fans there just as loco over him as us prince fans i can't imagine and his family and kids that's got to be tuff the bad thing about getting older is watching all your heros die what a sad sad sad time it is right now it's really gonna take some time getting over his death it just make me love prince even more it's just not the same without mike i can't belive it i can't believe the king is dead  i feel like crying[Edited 6/26/09 21:34pm] | |

I understand. Before I even knew about Prince when I was little, I was in love with Michael Jackson. Everything does feel different now....But I'm sure I will still feel enjoyment when I see or hear Prince perform music in the future. I think we are all the same, everybody was into MJ before they found Prince. MJ was THE MAN in the early eighties, and as much as I love Prince, he couldnt come anywhere near him in 82, MJ was unstoppable. I think all music will be a little empty to us all in the next few weeks. Life continues, somebody else will appear who will eclipse even MJ, its the way of the world. | |

Sure, it's 99.99999% certain, but YOU don't know for sure. Maybe he is the second son of God and will live forever. You don't know. This idea shows the silliness of religion. When Jesus was alive, if someone like me would have said "Jesus won't die. He'll resurect and live forever" you would have thought I was crazy and crucified me. Well, if you believe in this supposed Jesus, than you should know from the world's past experiences, that it IS possible Prince won't die. Anything is possible. | |

same here Yeah, I'll be very sad for a long time whenever I hear or watch Michael, if not forever. This is really difficult adjusting to. The way U said U would react about Prince, I'm experiencing right now with MJ. It's a horribly ineffable feeling, especially when U actually feel love for a celebrity/artist who affected U so positively all of your life, and then suddenly realize he is gone so young and tragically. I can't listen to my favorite songs by him right now, and it's going to be awhile before I can do so without feeling upset. It would be nice to see Prince soon though, as that could help the sorrow many of us hardcore MJ/Prince fans are feeling right now. On a better note, I would be thrilled if it's now revealed that Michael and Prince were really good pals behind closed doors. I've always felt they communicated or hung out sometime in secret, lol. King...I think your enthusiasm 4 Prince is great...Everyone in this room shares those feelings with you. Try to remember that you don't have to speak everything on your mind...sometimes passing thoughts are better left to pass by you.
