I'v heard on 2 different stations in the Detroit area that Prince has secretly had surgery on BOTH hips.
I'm asking you experts...is this true with his beliefs and all?

I totally heard this at work while listening to the radio. 1999 was about to come on and the woman said, "And here's 1999 by the Prince man... the guy who has to have both hips replaced! Ouch!"

Well, this rumor must be spreading like wildflowers, because one of my co-workers who is also a Prince fan just walked up to me and said "You heard about Prince right?" So immediately I froze thinking she was going to tell me bad news, and then I said "What?" She said, "He needs surgery on both hips" , so I told her that rumor has been spreading for a while and I don't believe it until I see some actual proof, but of course she tells me she believes it.

In any case, if this is actually true, that he either needs the surgery or had it, I hope all is well with him and wish him the best health, and that he takes very good care of himself, if in fact it is true, .

Well, I've heard that he needed this quite a while ago and have seen pix of him on a scooter that seniors use that can't get around that well.

Wendy and Lisa addressed this in Part 2 of their Q&A with the Org. In segment 4 or 5, I could've sworn they said something to the effect of "he was in a lot of pain and they wish him well".

Everyone needs a little maintenance now and again. Not surprised to hear this news about Prince, after his years of wear and tear along with doing the splits in the fashion he did. A friend of mine is half his age and has had double hip replacement surgery so it can happen to anybody.

Dam hip surgery? dam hope tha man iz all well and good, all those years in heels and jumping around but dam hip surgery again dam!

Is there a doctor in the house?

If he needed it and got it done, then I wish him a speedy recovery
