Prince must've done his playbacks at home on a Panasonic boombox that I have 'cause I have never heard it until 2nite. WOW! What an amazing mix. So many layers.

There is a remix of blacksweat, on the CD single. it clocks at 3:47

@tangerine: wouldn't exactly call that extended but, i haven't heard it nonetheless. The live version is the closest to an extended version we got and its oh-so-sexy!

well, i never said that it was infact extended,but it is something a bit different & 36 mins longer. i honestly like the orginal version but the remix is cool too. yea that's me. wink

He does whine a bit in those songs or maybe that's the screaming part. Anyway, whine is part of Prince.

Yes!

I always thought that song ended prematurely. If a longer version was released, I could imagine it would have been a real summer jam.

That album was marketed all wrong. why release 3121 when Black Sweat was more radio friendly (RB radio at least)

Why not release single of Incense and Candles.. instead of... TC. Again on RB radio... but I do believe if he had hit big on RB radio.. crossover to pop would have followed.

yeah, that sound it pretty irritating...i used to like that sound, but in black sweat its way too loud...

I had my iPod on shuffle yesterday and Kiss came on. I was floored by how amazing it was, thinking: BS comes nowhere near this...
Then two songs later BS came on!! (freaky that) Anyway, it too floored me and totally held its own v Kiss. Both classic trad

You could be a part-time model, but you'd probably have to keep your normal job
