Billboard review of One Nite Alone Live

PRINCE & THE NEW POWER
Album Title: GENERATIONOne Nite Alone . . . Live!
Label/Catalog Number: PRODUCER: PrinceNPG Records 70702
Source: PRINT
Originally Reviewed: December 21, 2002

Having divorced himself from the corporate music industry structure, Prince Rogers Nelson remains one of contemporary pop music's most intriguing, elusive, and enigmatic figures. His seemingly endless repertoire continues to delight and confound audiences worldwide. Throughout his chameleon-like, 20-plus-year career, Prince has maintained his reputation as the consummate live performer. With this sprawling, three-disc live set—the artist's first live recording—Prince & the New Power Generation emerge spiritually reinvigorated and musically revitalized. Culled from the group's spring 2002 tour (and impromptu post-concert gigs), the stripped-down, jazz-tinged collection spotlights unreleased material ("Xenophobia," "Avalanche") and classic treasures ("Do Me Baby," "When You Were Mine"). Also included is a bonus disc, the acoustic-fueled One Nite Alone studio recording.—CR

I guess non-members will receive the studio album after all.

Methinks a typo - given the name of the band and the album.
ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

Actually, with Billboard they always have a publication date that's for the week ahead of when it hits the stands...so the Billboard magazine you see on the shelves today will have next week's date on it...many mags are like that, having the publishing "date" be in advance of the actual date it's delivered to newstands...

Not much of a review. Brief, to say the least.

They call that a review. It doesn't encourage nor discvourage me to buy it. Hell, it doesn't say much at all. I'm sure the writer hasn't listened to it cuz he just aint saying much.
