You know, I can't remember the last time Reznor spoke in riddles or demanded that fans only comment positively on his work unless they were Miles Davis or his father.

There's probably something to that.

Who will be remembered and revered the most Prince or Razor?

Who has been referred to as a Genius countless times by his fellow musicians, peers etc...Prince or Twent?

Do Razor blades views actually matter, I mean come on...who the fuck is he, is he known outside the US of A? Its not as if a 'musical great' had passed these remarks, he is obviously very jealous and seeking attention and devoid of any class what so ever to make petty comments about a fellow 'artist'.

Lotusflow3r and MPLS are fantastic albums and from what I can gather I am not the only one who thinks so. I have been a listener of the mans music for 26 years now and to me there as good as any he has put out so go fuck an orange.

i think both are iconic and brilliant in ways that are different but which also overlap somewhat.

there are plusses and minuses and greater-thans and less-thans to be argued in both directions.

trent is doing with music and the internet today what prince was doing with music and the internet ten years ago. without prince, what NIN is doing these days might not be happening. on the other hand, it would be nice if what prince were doing with the internet these days was as impressive as what NIN has been doing the past couple of years. so see, it can go both ways...

Maybe Trent could produce prince new album..

If not for a couple people here holding his sack all the time... I wouldn't know who the hell he was. Nor would I care. And I still don't. I could ask the same question to every one I know... and they would give the same reply, " Trent who...???"

According to 'you guys'... he's done some very fan friendly things with marketing himself to his fans. But what does that really have to do about his music? The only people who will utter his name in the same sentence with Prince are his own fans.. while everyone else is still asking "who?".
