Prince = a paradox

Prince used to be unbelievable original and talented = 1978 to 1995.

he is still sooo talented these days, as musician, producer, live performer etc... yet his music since "the Gold Experience" hasn't been that original, most of the albums has been weak and very boring:

Chaos & Disorder,
Emancipation,
Newpower Soul,
The Vault... OF4S,
Rave,
N.E.W.S.,
ONA piano,
Xpectations,
The Chocolate Invasion,
Slaughterhouse,
Musicology,
3121,
Planet Earth,
the list is endless... even the new albums I find a little boring now.



Prince = a paradox ?

to be so talented...

and yet not being able to deliver anything truly original (on albums), that's a paradox isn't it ?

I think he's a paradox in other ways, actually.
None of this came to mind for me

His music is all about them because he plays both sides of just about everything.
Religion & Sex
Love & Hate

so on and on

that's what makes him
figuring out the meaning of each paradox is what Dreamy gets into it

You know what I think is an even better paradox? you coming on a prince FANSITE to try to get others to agree with you about how "talentless" his productions have been. were talking about one of the greatest musicians of all time yet the world is still a critic

Emanicipation & New Power Soul? Hmmmmm..... interesting....

Since 1992, Prince has produced amazing joints, the proof is everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Sad that some people don't see it, no more candy for them.
