The Susan Boyle conundrum: what if Prince looked like Al Roker?

The question is, would you be as big of a fan of his music if the person who did the music looked like Al Roker?

I bet many here will say no. Ray Charles had the same skills as Prince talent wise, but we are bigger Prince fans. Could it be because of his looks? I think so.

Well it's true. Part of Prince's appeal is his appearance. Anybody can play a guitar. It takes alot to play guitar and look GOOD.

If he looked like Al Roker I'd think "that dorky looking guy sure is a great musician," much like I think now.

Since I actually heard and liked Prince years before I knew what he looked like...my immediate answer is yes...I would have still liked him if he looked like Al Roker!

Now...would I have still loved him AFTER I saw what he looked like?



Well, since I've never seen Al Roker in nothing but a trench coat, a pair of Speedos, thigh high boots and a guitar...and I've never wanted to! WTF?

I'm going to go with...well...that all depends...are we talking Al Roker being able to get down like Prince got down...mid-air splits, killer guitar riffs, funky faces, screams of passion, sexuality just oozing from his every pore? If that's what were talking about...then hell fuck yeah and then some! I'd bust a hell of a nut...seeing AL ROKER do that shit like Prince did it and he'd have certainly solidified a permanent place in my heart!!!

Hoever, if it didn't happen as flawlessly as Prince made it happen. Well...then..uhhh...the chips would have fallen where they were!

For the record, I like Susan Boyle...as long as I don't find out she was pulling a Milli Vanilli...she'll be alright!

not everyone thinks he's good looking. I've had many reactions of "ewww" in reference to him.

he's absolutely beautiful to me and is def part of the appeal.

His looks do nothing for me. Saying that, I have no idea what Al Roker looks like, so it might be a deal breaker.

Is it LEGAL 2 mention this woman and Prince in the same conversation?

It depends. If Prince sang as much about sex as he used to and was a fat bald unattractive man, maybe I wouldn't ike him quite as much.

Saying that, I think Justin Timberlake and Har Mar Superstar are very similar musically and vocally, and I MUCH prefer Har Mar Superstar - and he looks like Ron Jeremy!
