the song was written a while ago for his one nite alone... piano album, but yeah, dated as hell nonetheless. do they even make two-way pagers anymore? song is still the shit (the MPLSound version, i mean )

As not english-speaking, I've been wondering what a "2-way" is, and when searching, I also learnt that it's still populair among emergency-staff e t c, though it don't get overload like cellphones sometimes does. It was the best communicater during the 9/11 disaster, for example. I guess for Prince to make sure to get in touch with his love, is kind of an emergency situation...
