A Tisket A Tasket

Always knew the kid was a huge intellelect but just saw a programme on the telly the other night about Ella Fitzgerald and she had a hit with a song called a Tisket a Tasket and who uses that line in Pussey Control - only our boy where does he get the time to locate all this inspiration !!! loving him even more now. Always suspected he was more intellect than just pop.

Because young people tend not to know things like nursery rhymes anymore.

A tisket a tasket is a Mother Goose verse that was also used as a jumprope rhyme...

A tisket a tasket
A green and yellow basket
I wrote a letter to my love,
And on the way, I dropped it.

I dropped it,
I dropped it,
And on the way I dropped it.
A little boy picked it up
And put it in his pocket.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
