I Dig how most of the negative reviews reference Purple Rain

LOL!! The reviewers basing their opinion on music from 25 years ago. I just think it's funny that they make a comparison rather than review the new music for what it is.

That is the exact reason...that I can't have a reasonable discussion with some people about Prince. Some people are just so limited to that time. I've taken some people on a musical tour through different Prince albums however, and have opened some eyes. cool

It's quite obvious they want to talk badly about Prince in some ways. Musically it's quite difficult to criticize the new album, they are really strong and, quite rare in the modern music, full of good songs!

Yes, they are for the most part; however, even people gave Elvis and Ol' Blue Eyes a break as they aged.
