His last great "pop" song?

By far my favorite song on Emancipation - A great start to Disc II. I like how the song sounds strangely 'elastic' in places.

Funny thing about this song: Where Prince sings, "We can party all night long", I used to think he was singing, "Freak your body all night long". falloff doh! Think I've heard too much Prince music in my time. lol

When my hubby first heard our baby's heartbeat at the Dr. I pulled this cd out and told him to listen and he didn't get it then I played it again and he figured out it was a heartbeat...He was like eek wow, I would never have thought to put that in a song
Um... let me warm up my vocals

Not great at all. It's decent though. Listenable. About 90 seconds too long. I like the idea of the heartbeat in it, but it seems pervy or weird that he's using his baby's heartbeat to sing about fucking on summer break. For me, disk 2 starts with "One Kiss At A Time". WOOF @ that song...love it.

It's a great tune, but the heartbeat (at the time supposedly of Gregory) casts a depressing shadow over it.

Really? I like it, I think it's catchy (the tune, not the baby's heartbeat).

Yeah, it's kinda catchy, but I just think it's weird to put the heartbeat over that particular song. The lyrics aren't great either. It would've been more pleasant to have it over a different kind of song. Probably just me, though. shrug

How quickly we forget what sex is for. The heartbeat is totally appropriate and yes sad but artistically genius.

The One U Wanna C is his last best pop song.
