HECK YEAH! this is just a few of those moments.


During the 7 day Celebration he did Sometimes It Snows in April.... and out of no where (I was so embarrassed ) tears was falling,I was bawling make up ruined and all.


oh and JUST MY IMAGINATION .....played on WBAI chokes me up every time. There's a build up to the song coupled with the last note he hits.My mercy



lets hope THE Dance will happen in my lifetime so I can throw myself on the floor in a puddle of my own snot and tears looking real distraught.

the ladder and when i heard the dance for the first time on christmas day, i cried, then i went

1. Sometimes it Snows in April - after the death of my best friend 8 years after Parade came out.
2. Eye Hate U - after I broke up with my girlfriend at the time of release.
3. Best of You segment of Superbowl Halftime Show - tears of joy
4. Purple Rain segment on piano medley at the One Nite Alone Tour
5. While My Guitar Gently Weeps solo at the RnR Hall of Fame induction

ya when i couldnt go to the LA show that cost 300 or 3000 .. which one was that ? Bring back Glam Slam LA please.

Last time was at the Indigo 8/28 aftershow.....

I was sitting up in bed on last New Year's Eve, watching the Prince "tribute" band Purple Reign "perform" on Letterman's show.

I cried a little then because I missed him and it was apparent to me how much I missed him as I was watching this terrible mockery of his music LIVE ON NATIONAL TV. And I spoke a little prayer to God to please let Prince come back out and play.

Then about a month later I hit up Prince.org and found out about the new tracks. And THEN I got to hear them thanks to the power of the internets. Sitting there, listening to Colonized Mind and knowing that there was more new stuff coming I cried HARD.

Nope, never.

Adore...probably the BEST ballad ever written by A-N-Y-B-O-D-Y. I know I'm skipping over "nothing compares 2 u" and "the dance", etc., but adore makes me cry like a whipped pup. It is REMARKABLE

One day a few years ago, a tear streamed down my cheek when listening to condition of the heart, it must of been the fragility in his voice in that song. It was weird as fuck cos i was typing up an essay at the time. That being said it may have been the essay that made me cry

everytime I hear him play Purple Rain live.....i cry....ughh....my husband thinks I am doofball.....
